The First Year of The Jungle
With big ideas in our minds and our hearts full of passion, we set out to turn our back patio into something that could bring us more than just a pretty view. We were looking to take the first steps toward sustainability. And boy oh boy… what a heck of a step that was!! LOL We’re glad that you’re here to follow our journey and maybe even share you path with us. We have learned so much from everyone we have met over the past two years through our gardening and localvore lifestyle. Please join us and leave comments. We’ll all learn together and maybe just take one little thing away that will make us stronger.

It just kept growing and growing… until the whole back patio was covered. All in all, in 2008, we took about 800 pounds of tomatoes from our back patio micro-farm. WOOHOO!!
What on EARTH are we going to do next year?? LOL We’re going to have to build up… the plans are in the works. Hang around and see what unfolds…
